Joining our Association
We welcome anybody to join the Derwent Valley Repeater Association.
The cost is $15 per year and we work on a financial yearly payment scheme. We have an AGM every May/June to elect office bearers of the group and voting members must have paid their membership to be eligible to vote (per our constitution). Meetings are usually held at the New Norfolk Library but with the expansion of the radio network we may use a different location.
When you have paid your first initial membership we will allocate you a call sign. If you have an old call sign we usually place the letters DVR (Derwent Valley Repeater) or HVR (Huon Valley Repeater) in front of your numbers. This will advise all other users that you are a financial member.

Remember we ask for membership donations to cover our running cost for example, site fees, power, maintenance and administration costs.
